Chapter 13 Bankruptcy

In a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, individuals are allowed to keep all of their assets while repaying secured and/or unsecured debts.  United States Bankrutpcy Codes allow an individual a period of up to 5 years to repay all or a portion of their debt.  All Chapter 13 Bankruptcy filings are closely monitored by a Bankruptcy Trustee who acts as a disbursing agent, collecting monthly payments from individuals and then disbursing the money to creditors as directed by the court.  Baker & Associates will prepare a repayment plan that is both comfortable for your individual budget, and effective with regards to the repayment of your debt.
