Achieving Through Giving

It is governed by a board appointed by the President of the State Bar of Texas, the Board of Trustees of the Texas Bar Foundations, and the Fellows of the Foundation.  As expected of nearly anything related to Texas, the Texas Bar Foundation is the largest of its kind in the country.

The Fellows help fund grants to organizations that benefit Texans in need such as: provide legal assistance to underprivileged citizens, counsel for survivors of domestic abuse, immigration law assistance, and educate the public on the justice system.

To date, the Texas Bar Foundation has awarded more than $17 million in grants to organizations around the state. Mr. Baker is honored to have been one of the 1/3 of 1% of lawyers elected to this position, and hopes to be of great service to fellow Texans through this appointment.
